To adopt a dachshund, simply fill out our Adoption Application Form. After reviewing your application, we will contact you to schedule an interview and possibly a home visit to ensure that a dachshund will fit well into your life. Once approved, we will match you with a dachshund that suits your lifestyle and preferences.
Our Puppy Adoption Process
1. Choose Your Puppy:
Take a look at our available puppies and let us know which little one has stolen your heart.
2. Reservation Deposit:
To secure your puppy, we require a $400 reservation deposit. This deposit is included in the total cost ($850) and guarantees that your puppy is held just for you and removed from the market.
3. Contract & Ownership Transfer:
Once your deposit is received, we’ll send you a Bill of Sale & Ownership Transfer Agreement. This document outlines all legal details of your puppy and officially registers the puppy under your name as the new owner. You’ll simply review, sign, and return it to us.
4. Final Payment & Bringing Puppy Home:
The remaining balance is due before delivery or can be paid in cash at pickup from our home in Dallas, TX:

While prior pet experience is helpful, it’s not required. We’re happy to help first-time pet owners and provide guidance on caring for your new dachshund. Our team will work with you to ensure that you’re prepared for your new pet.
